Set sail on Windermere: England's longest lake aboard Seapig a modern classic day yacht. After leaving the pontoon we will get you steering as we glide between the moorings under the power of our silent electric engine and onto the wider lake where it's time to hoist the sails.  This experience is all about learning the ropes, stick and flappy bits with straight-up language and a hands-on approach you and your fellow crew will do the vast majority of the tasks that make the boat work.  You will feel the thrill of the wind driving the sails and heeling the boat over and quickly gain the confidence to relax as she heels over and shoots forwards in gusts: safe in the knowledge that this is one of the most stable sailboats on the lake.  For lunch, we anchor in a bay and have a posh picnic (included) and hot drinks as the other boats pass us by before hoisting the sails and setting off again for home.  Seapig sailing is great for all the family with lots of tasks for all ages to get into, there is a small cabin to keep little ones warm and give them space to play.  We are an inclusive adventure specialist and regularly work with people with mobility, cognitive, communication or sensory impairments.  Seapig sailing accessibility features: Decks flush with launching pontoon just a straightforward step-down Super stability (she will not fall lover, or capsize) Support straps to help people remain in their seats Padded seating  Supportive seating  Sail from a single position Tactile markers for visually impaired sailors Electro assisted steering Changing place,  level access cafe and accessible toilet at the launch point To find out more about our trip and accessibility please visit: https://anyonecan.uk/sea-pig-day-yacht/   Inclusions What's Included 🍴 Food - A lovely lunch of local produce 🥤 Drink - Hot and cold drinks at Lunch 🧰 Equipment - Waterproofs, safety gear, and lunch   What you'll need 🧤 Warm Clothing 🥤 Drink - Bring a cold drink bottle

Canoe sailing is the wacky race of sailing.  We developed our bespoke canoe sailing boats to make an easily accessible boats for people with mobility difficulties - but everyone loves them. Fast light and you are a solo sailer from the very start. If you want a friend or carer in the boat to help you, that's fine too! Your instructor starts by teaching you to rig the boat on land and how to use the various controls. When we're ready we slide onto the water for a quick tow to somewhere suitable to set off from and then you're off. Don't worry though the powerful safety boat will guide you through the initial few minutes and you will have the hang of it by lunch. We have great little radios on each collar to easily hear what the instructor is saying and to ask for guidance.
