Pumpkin & Pizza Party! 🎃🍕 Friday, October 23 | 5:00–6:30 PM We're giving our Friday night Porch Pizza & Popsicles playdates one last fall-inspired twist before we say goodbye for the season!Join us for a cozy autumn evening in our outdoor Fall Play Yard as we celebrate all the Friday nights spent playing, connecting and making memories together. We're trading popsicles for pumpkins and bringing together some of our favorite fall activities for one final Friday evening playdate! Here's what's in store: 🎃  Paint Your Own Pumpkin! Every child will receive their very own pumpkin to decorate with paint and take home as a special keepsake from the evening. 🍕 Pizza for the Kiddos! Every registered child will receive one slice of pizza, with the option to add additional slices for adults during checkout. 📖 Pumpkin Storytime! Gather around for a sweet, pumpkin-themed story to celebrate the season together. 🍂 Fall-Inspired Play! Our outdoor play yard will be filled with seasonal invitations to explore, create and play! Little ones can dive into our corn pit, race pumpkin cars, explore pumpkin-themed sensory activities and enjoy all the fall fun our play yard has to offer. Whether you've joined us for Friday night playdates all season long or this will be your very first, we'd love to spend one more Friday evening together before we wrap up this little tradition for the season. Event Details 📅 Friday, October 23 🕔 5:00–6:30 PM 📍 River & Root Outdoor Fall Play Yard Come hungry, dress for a little fall fun and help us send off our Friday evening playdates with pumpkins, pizza and plenty of play! 🤍 Advance registration is required. Photo & Video Notice: During this event, our team may take photos and videos to capture the fun and activities happening throughout our outdoor play yard. We’ll primarily focus on activity shots, little hands at play, overhead photos and the backs of children’s heads. We will always ask for your verbal permission before intentionally photographing or recording your child’s face. We will never intentionally capture or share a front-facing image of your child without first receiving permission from their caregiver. Indoor + Outdoor Play: This event is fully outdoors and will take place in our outdoor Fall Play Yard. Our indoor play space will be closed during the event, but families will still have access to our indoor restroom. Parking: Our River & Root parking lot may fill up. Free street parking is available along Shreve Avenue, extending down toward the baseball fields. If street parking fills up, additional free public parking is available at the Barrington Little League fields, approximately six houses from River & Root.

Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo! A little fairy-tale magic is coming to River & Root! 💙 Before the clock strikes twelve, join us Friday, October 23 from 10 AM–12 PM for an enchanting morning of princess magic, pumpkin-inspired play and fall fun! Our Fall Play Yard will be filled with whimsical, hands-on activities inspired by Cinderella's fairy tale. Little ones can explore, create and play their way through a magical morning, with a very special visit from Cinderella herself! Little princes and princesses can: Create their very own magical wand to take home Mix, scoop and pour in our Fairy Godmother's Potion Kitchen Wash and scrub pumpkins with toddler-friendly tools Explore pumpkin-inspired sensory play and color sorting Enjoy our Fall Play Yard, including the corn pit, pretend apple picking, pumpkin play and more! And of course, Cinderella will be joining the celebration! 👑 Little ones will have opportunities to meet, play, interact and take photos with our special princess guest. This event is designed for children ages 0–6 and their caregivers.
