Join the full Baby Play Lab 2 series for six weeks of active developmental play, movement, and caregiver guidance as your baby becomes more mobile.
Led by a pediatric occupational therapist, Baby Play Lab 2 uses movement, music, sensory play, and simple obstacle courses to support skills like sitting, transitions, crawling, pulling to stand, balance, coordination, and early walking foundations. Caregivers will learn playful ways to encourage emerging skills while following each baby’s individual developmental pace.
Series Details
What to Expect
Class runs from 12:00–1:00 PM. Arriving early gives little ones time to warm up, explore, and settle into the space before the guided portion begins.
Your registration covers the full 90-minute experience.

Series Details
- All 6 sessions for $150 per child
- Save $30 compared with the $30 drop-in rate
- Sibling series rate: $120 per sibling, a $24 savings compared with the $24 sibling drop-in rate
- Series enrollment is available for a limited time before the program begins
- Designed for families who want consistency, developmental guidance, and opportunities to build skills from week to week
What to Expect
Each session includes active, developmentally appropriate play designed to support emerging movement skills, including:
Play + Learn
- Sitting and transitions between positions
- Crawling and pre-crawling skills
- Pulling to stand and early standing
- Balance, coordination, and early walking foundations
- Music, sensory play, and simple obstacle courses
- Practical strategies caregivers can use during everyday play
Play + Learn
Families are welcome to arrive beginning at 11:30 AM for 30 minutes of open play in River + Root’s Montessori-inspired play space.
