About The Hovercraft Museum CIO
The Hovercraft Museum Trust is the worlds only hovercraft museum and through its iconic exhibits tells the ongoing story of the hovercraft in a way that inspires, educates, and provides enjoyment to the public and society in general at its home on a transport heritage site in Lee on the Solent, Hampshire.
Booking policy
These Terms & Conditions apply to all tickets purchased for general admission and special events at The Hovercraft Museum CIO. By booking through Beyonk, you agree to the following:

1\. Ticketing & Payments
- All bookings are made through Beyonk and processed by Stripe (card payments only).
- Tickets are non-refundable.
- General Admission: tickets may be rescheduled to another date (subject to availability) but must be used within 6 months of the booking date. They expire after that time whether used or not.
- Special Events: tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- The purchaser remains the main ticket holder – tickets cannot be transferred to another person’s name.
- Concession rates are available for some tickets – please check at time of booking.
2\. Entry & Re-Entry
- Admission is valid only during published opening hours and last entry times.
- Re-entry is permitted for the same day unless stated otherwise for special events.
- Late arrivals for general admission are admitted during normal opening times. Late arrivals to events are at the discretion of museum personnel.
3\. Visitor Rules
- Dogs: friendly, well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Assistance dogs are also welcome.
- No smoking or vaping anywhere on site.
- No alcohol may be brought or consumed.
- Photography: personal photography is welcome provided due respect and consideration to fellow guests is observed. Commercial photography/videography requires prior written permission.
4\. Special Events
- Some events may have capacity limits; entry will be first-come, first-served.
- Refund and transfer rules for events are stricter (see section 1).
5\. Museum Rights
- We may need to close parts of the site or cancel/postpone events due to safety, weather, or maintenance. In such cases, we will offer alternative arrangements where possible.
- Events may be filmed or photographed for promotional use. We will adapt if you inform us at the time, but attending means you accept you may be included in recordings.
6. Liability
- Visitors attend at their own risk. Personal belongings should be kept safe at all times.
- The Museum carries public liability insurance as required by law.
- We are not responsible for injury, loss, or damage except where legally required.
7\. Privacy
- Your booking details are handled by Beyonk and Stripe in line with their policies.

8\. Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales.
