Overview
Enjoy a guided behind the scenes tour of Tomintoul Distillery, located in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park and see how our dedicated team use traditional distilling techniques that stretch back hundreds of years, to handcraft our award-winning Single Malt Scotch Whisky. The tour will be followed by a tasting of three Tomintoul Single Malts. The experience lasts approximately 90 minutes.
SILENT SEASON: every summer we close the production side of our distillery to perform maintenance; during this time we will endavour to show you the stills in the still house but only if it is safe to do so. during this period the tours are reduced in price; you will still get to understand how we make our whisky, and ofcourse sample it, but you will not see production in action.... This year's silent season is from the 22nd June to the 27th of July.
