Description: We sail eastwards from our mooring, passing through open countryside and Widbrook Woods. We reach Hilperton Marina on the outskirts of Trowbridge, where we turn and head back to Bradford on Avon. A tranquil cruise travelling through tree-lined woodland where wildlife such as kingfishers and herons are frequently spotted.
Seating is at tables of four. Other group sizes may be asked to share a table, depending on the total number of passengers on the day. Refreshments available on board. The Barbara MacLellan is a 65ft wide-beam boat operating from Bradford on Avon Wharf Cottage, by the lock, BA15 1LE. The boat has 10 tables and there is a licensed bar on board serving a wide variety of hot & cold drinks and bar snacks. We accept and encourage card payments. There is a small toilet on board. Passengers will board and disembark the boat using steps but we have a wheelchair lift for anybody unable to board and disembark the boat using steps. The lift will only accommodate self-powered chairs - not electric. Dogs are not permitted on any of our trips, apart from Assistance Dogs. Children must be accompanies by at least one adult.
