Thursday 15th October, 6pm This perfect family event returns for the second year running, telling the enchanting tale of how William the Cat rescued Rosslyn Chapel from disaster. Through a unique mix of storytelling and live music, the Countess of Rosslyn’s popular story is brought to life with the help of a clarinet, flute, violin, trombone, medieval shawm and a multitude of harps!After a short interval, we will find ourselves in “Trouble in the Magic Forest”, but not to worry, the green men, angels and dragons of Rosslyn Chapel will work together to save their beautiful home. Perhaps we might even call upon you to help them. Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra

Saturday 21st November, 7.30pm  An evening of traditional Scottish music with players from the  Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra. The Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra is a vibrant youth orchestra that excites, enlightens and entertains its audiences with its energetic arrangements of traditional Scottish music. The Orchestra has played many exciting venues over the years, playing at the Scottish, Westminster and European Parliaments, at the Sydney Opera House, on Table Mountain and Robben Island at Cape Town. They have played on Broadway, New York City, at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, The White House in Washington DC, 10 Downing Street in London and even at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, Geneva! In June 2019 the Orchestra were honoured with Global Ambassador status for World Peace Tartan and in July 2019 became the first group to perform live in the Hiroshima Peace Gardens in Japan. In 2023 the Orchestra toured the Southern States of the USA.

Saturday 12th December, 7pm and 9pm Experience a breath-taking evening of Christmas carols by candlelight in the beautiful Rosslyn Chapel performed by singers from the Robin Chapel Choir. They are recognized as one of the foremost ecclesiastical choirs in Scotland. Their growing reputation has led to sold-out events at Holyrood Palace, Falkland Palace and Perth Museum. Recent highlights have included a tour to Germany and the honour of performing at Westminster Abbey during the arrival of the Stone of Destiny for the Coronation of King Charles III. Christmas Candlelit Visits

Wednesday 9th, Thursday 10th, Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th December at 7pm Enjoy the magical atmosphere of an evening Christmas visit to Rosslyn Chapel by candlelight. You can find out more about this amazing building when one of the Chapel’s expert Guides gives a short talk about its rich history and then you can explore for yourself, using your map to find the main points of interest and key carvings. Interior photography will be allowed during this evening visit. Following your visit, enjoy some festive refreshments on the 9th & 10th December or a cocktail from our partners at Pomology on the 16th & 17th December.  Non-alcoholic options will be available. The visitor centre and shop will also be open for some Christmas shopping opportunities with a 20% discount on the evening (excluding alcohol and other promotions) and there will be a free guidebook for each visiting household. Numbers restricted to just 30 people. £20 per person.

Saturday 19th December, 7.30pm An olde worlde Christmas programme of festive music from the era of Byrd and earlier, mixing medieval carols with more traditional sacred repertoire. About Hortus Hortus (meaning Garden) are a quartet of four choristers from the choir of St Giles’ cathedral in Edinburgh.  We are passionate about bringing beautiful historic music to places it may once have been heard, from the lofty spaces of St Giles’ and Dornoch cathedral, to intimate gatherings in Biggar Kirk and Falkland Palace chapel. We are so excited to bring this festive collection of early and medieval music to life in the sublime, evocative surroundings of Rosslyn chapel.
