About Hortus
Hortus (meaning Garden) are a quartet of four choristers from the choir of St Giles’ cathedral in Edinburgh. We are passionate about bringing beautiful historic music to places it may once have been heard, from the lofty spaces of St Giles’ and Dornoch cathedral, to intimate gatherings in Biggar Kirk and Falkland Palace chapel. We are so excited to bring this festive collection of early and medieval music to life in the sublime, evocative surroundings of Rosslyn chapel.
