A pioneering figure in the UK’s new wave and post-punk movement, Toyah Willcox has made an indelible mark on the entertainment industry with her unique voice, electrifying stage presence, and artistic versatility. Enjoy a magical evening concert with TOYAH and her band, performing favourite hits and reflecting on her remarkable career. An intimate and personal performance - all in the surroundings of the beautiful Confetti Flower Fields.
ABOUT TOYAH
A singer, songwriter and actor, a TV presenter and author, an award winner and film star – Toyah has worn many hats during a remarkable career spanning 50 years. Most recently, she was a contestant on the 2024 season of Strictly Come Dancing, partnered with professional dancer Neil Jones. She burst on to the scene in 1976 as she forged dual careers as a musician and actress who featured at The National Theatre and London’s Royal Court. Her roles in Shoestring, Jubilee and Quadrophenia made her a household name and soon after she gate-crashed the charts with It’s a Mystery, I Want to be Free, and Thunder in the Mountains. The 1981 Toyah album Anthem earned a Gold disc and spent 46 weeks on the album chart. Toyah was awarded Best Female Singer at the British Rock & Pop Awards in February 1982. Toyah was also nominated for a BRIT Award for Best Female Singer in the same year. Acting, presenting, performing, headlining tours, and releasing 23 studio albums continued her unique story. The performance will run for one hour, from 8:15pm to 9:15pm, with the fields closing at 10pm. Our main gate will open just prior to 6pm, giving you plenty of time to enjoy a stroll around the fields before the concert.
* Your ticket includes admission to the Confetti Flower Fields
- The Confetti Flower Fields main gate will open just prior to 6pm, you may queue from 5pm, the concert will begin at 8.15pm prompt and will last approximately 1 hour.
- Before the concert enjoy our sweet and savoury hot food stalls, licensed bar and hop on the Ferris wheel for a magical view.
- You are welcome to bring a picnic, spend time strolling amongst the flowers and take advantage of the softer evening light for photography.
- This is an outdoor event so please come prepared for all weathers.
- Please bring your own seating, folding chairs or a picnic rug and cushions, a torch is advisable and warm blankets in case it gets a little chilly!
- The Confetti Flower Fields will close at 10pm.
