About Lake District Wildlife Park
With the backdrop of the Skiddaw massif journey on foot around the 24 acres of parkland to see our 300 animals and 78 different species of wild and domestic animals cared for in this beautiful setting by their qualified and highly motivated keepers. A range of engaging presentations take place daily bringing you closer to many of the park’s favourites. With conservation at the heart of our ethos we actively support three charities and as BIAZA members we participate in six endangered species programmes. We also jointly manage two SSSI sites on the shores of Bassenthwaite Lake, with native wildlife in mind.
Booking policy
Day admissions can only be used on the date booked.
The Ultimate Animal Experience is available for participants aged 8 years old and above.The Bird of Prey Experience is available for participants aged 16 years old and above.

- Gift cards are redeemable online
- Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash
- Gift cards are not refundable
- Gift cards are not replaceable if lost or stolen
Cancellation policy

Cancellation: 100% of the amount will be charged if you cancel the booking or there is a no show by yourself. Should the weather be deemed unsuitable by us, for your booked experience (Ultimate Animal and Bird of Prey), an alternative date and time will be arranged by us.
We reserve the right to cancel a booking and in the event that we have to do this, we will refund you 100% including the booking fee.
*Great British Summer Saving: Bookings made on or between 25th June and 1st September can only be used on the day booked. No refunds will be given.
