Join us at the COW WASH the first Sunday of every month starting at 10AM and finishing whenever we finish washing our 3 heifers and Jett.  All that soapy fun for only $25 per person for a maximum of 6 cow washers per session and that includes your farm visit too.  Bring a change of clothes and  get ready to get bubbly with our beautiful and sweet fluffy cows.  After their bath and conditioner, they will get blown dry for max fluffiness.  Its a great experience, hard work but lots of fun and the picture opportunities will be amazing.  We can't wait to see you at the Cow Wash!    CLOSED TOE SHOES REQUIRED!   PLEASE NOTE, due to issues with the booking system, we'll have to open the next month session the day after the current month's session passes, sorry for any inconvenience!

There is nothing more fun for kids than spending time at Rooterville with our beautiful grounds and happy, friendly animals!  We love field trips and will create the experience that best suits your group.  We can accommodate groups of up to 100 with 1 chaperone per 10-15 kids.  This is the deposit to book your date and time.  The balance of $10pp is due upon arrival.  A typical field trip looks like this:  Kids arrive and get an introduction to Rooterville with instructions on how to behave around the animals.  Kids are typically broken up into groups unless it is a small group.  One group will play in the playground area and interact with the animals there.  One will go out to the wagon/pond area and play games as per what their teachers bring for them, usually ball games but we can work with you on what games will meet your educational/experience objectives.  And one group will visit the gift shop.  We allocate time to each group to rotate them out to be able to enjoy all of the experiences.   We have signs along the main sanctuary area based on the song "Ole MacDonald Had a Farm" that the kids can sing along to and learn educational tidbits about the animals.  In the fall, we usually have a hay maze set up with Spookley the Square Pumpkin's story throughout it.  If you would like this feature, please talk with Elaine directly to make sure it will be available.   After everyone has had their fill of fun, they gather together to eat lunch.  After lunch, we'll clean up and they will load up and head out!   It is a wonderful experience for the kids and we try to not make it too structured as far as presentations or talks as the kids are too excited to get inside and start having a great time.  So no boring talks or sitting still for periods of time.  This is a time for them to get outside, meet some happy animals and enjoy themselves.  We can't wait to host your group!
