🐾 Junior Zookeeper Day at WILD Zoological Park! 🐾 Do you know a young aspiring zookeeper? Our Junior Keeper Day Experience is perfect for children aged 7-13 years old, offering them the chance to spend a day learning what it takes to care for our wonderfully unique animals! From cleaning and feeding to habitat design and an enrichment-making workshop, this hands-on experience is packed with exciting activities. What’s Included?

What to Expect?

• Begin your day with an induction and get kitted up in your Junior Keeper gear
• Visit each animal section to clean, feed, and create enrichment for our animals
• Take part in animal handling, crafts, talks, and demonstrations
• Ask our expert keepers everything you've ever wanted to know about zookeeping

This experience is inspired by the WILD Curriculum, which encourages children to develop resilience, confidence, and a deep connection to nature through hands-on learning. Important Information 

🦺 Dress appropriately – wear sturdy boots or wellies and weather-appropriate clothing, as you’ll be working outdoors in all conditions!
🦸 No need for an adult to accompany – all our staff are DBS-certified. Participants can be dropped off at 10 AM and picked up at 3 PM.
