Teamwork. Fun. Shared adventure. Experience the river like never before on our Mega SUPs, where 4–6 people share a single extra-stable board. Perfect for families, youth groups, corporate teams, and stag or hen parties, this adventure combines balance, coordination, and teamwork with the thrill of moving together down the river. It’s like white water rafting, but with the extra challenge of paddling as a team, making even smaller rapids exciting and engaging. What to Expect Mega SUP trips are suitable for all levels. The focus is on teamwork, fun, and shared adventure on the water. Every stretch of the river is an opportunity to paddle in sync, take on mini challenges, and enjoy the river and surrounding countryside together. As the rapids increase, your team’s coordination and confidence are put to the test, creating a memorable and exciting experience for everyone. · Team Adventure: Work together on one board, building coordination, teamwork, and shared enjoyment on the water.· Guided Support: Our instructors provide personalised coaching and tips to help everyone get the most from the experience.· Scenic & Thrilling: Enjoy the river and surrounding countryside while navigating the rapids. Please Note· A vehicle shuttle is required. We generally car share to get to the start/return to cars — please contact us if this isn’t possible.· All participants must be comfortable in the water and able to swim 25 m. Swimming Ability: Must be able to swim 25m unaided What’s Included Expert instruction from certified guides Mega SUP boards and all necessary safety equipment (paddles, buoyancy aids, helmets) Guidance on teamwork, balance, and paddling technique Safety briefing and support throughout the trip What You’ll Need to Bring Swimwear and quick-drying layers suitable for getting wet Sturdy footwear: old trainers or walking boots (no Crocs, sandals, or water shoes) Towel and full change of clothes including footwear Car parking fees Please take a moment to read our Terms and Conditions before booking. Cancellations made with less than 30 days’ notice are non-refundable unless we’re able to resell your place, in which case a refund will be issued minus a 25% admin fee. If we need to cancel due to weather or safety concerns, we’ll offer an alternative date or a full refund.

Join us on a progressive SUP River Trip designed to enhance your skills, boost your confidence, and elevate your capabilities on gentle moving water. This adventure is perfect for paddlers looking to take their stand-up paddleboarding to the next level. This is a river trip developing skills, confidence and capability on easy moving water with the challenge of some gentle rapids towards the end. For those up for the challenge there is the opportunity to try out your skills on the whitewater course at the end. This is a great activity and opportunity to try this in the safest way possible by using a well established company that has been operating as an outdoor activity provider in Derbyshire for 15 years. Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) White Water Leader
White Water SUP Leader Training Lead Safely and Confidently on White Water Take your SUP skills to the next level with our White Water SUP Leader Training. This course equips experienced paddlers with the knowledge, leadership skills, and safety awareness needed to guide groups on grade 2 (3) white water. About the Course This course is designed to develop your ability to plan, lead, and manage small groups on moving water safely and confidently. Over two days of training, you’ll gain practical experience in reading rivers, assessing hazards, and making informed decisions while leading others. The subsequent assessment can be booked separately - get in touch to arrange your assessment when you’re ready. To get the most out of this course, participants should be happy paddling grade 2(3) rivers. Courses are run nationwide, with sessions generally in South or North Wales depending on water conditions, but can be arranged anywhere with suitable rivers. Group sizes are up to 4 participants per instructor, though multiple instructors can be added for larger groups. The course cost is £220 per person. On the course, you will: Understand your responsibilities as a leader and the principles of safe group management Learn how to plan trips, assess hazards, and read river features effectively Develop rescue and recovery skills for both individual paddlers and the group Practice decision-making and leadership in moving water environments Learn how to select, use, and maintain appropriate SUP equipment Understand risk management, including emergency planning and incident response Gain confidence in guiding and mentoring others while on the water Completing this course is also a prerequisite for progressing to the Stand Up Paddle Board White Water Coach qualification, giving you the pathway to formally teach and coach others on moving water. Some equipment can be hired for an additional cost - please get in touch if you require any additional kit.
