Orr's Farm Market is excited to announce the launch of a new farm camp! If you are looking for a fun, family-oriented, and educational way to get your children outside and involved in learning valuable agricultural skills...this camp is for you. Children will rotate through six lessons a day that teach them about growing crops, harvesting crops, animal care, playground fun, using farm fresh produce and herbs for food, and preserving the harvest. We also will add art and music projects into our week as well. Lunch and two snacks will be provided. All camp attendees will bring home fruit and produce that they have harvested as well as recipe cards to create recipes at home that they've learned to make at camp. Camp attendees will also get to enjoy daily hayrides, create a tie-dye camp t-shirt, and have an end of week ice cream party at our new ice cream truck "Sweet Orchard Swirls." The location of this camp will be in the Barnyard playground area, the Event Barn, and on the first floor of the White Farmhouse (kitchen, dining, and living room areas). There is a limit of 60 children per week, and they can be from age: Completed Kindergarten-13 years old.

Join us for a fun day at The Barnyard, creating something special with your child.  During our Friday morning Sand Art Workshop, you and your child will decorate your own sand art-perfect for brightening up your space. Each registration includes a sand art creation for each person. Once your masterpiece is complete, the fun doesn’t stop there – let the learning begin! Enjoy a hayride, play fun and educational games, and even pet and interact with our goats and bunnies. The playground will be open for you to explore following our event. Join us for a fun day at The Barnyard, creating something special with your child.  During our Friday morning Little Birdwatchers Workshop, you and your child will decorate your own wooden birdhouse for brightening up your porch, patio, or garden. Each attendee will have the option to create a birdhouse. Once your masterpiece is complete, the fun doesn’t stop there – let the learning begin! Dive into hands-on activities where birdwatchers will learn to watch for birds, determine different species, and ways to feed the birds.
