Looking for a truly Scottish moment to remember? Step into the peaceful beauty of Glen Nevis for a private encounter with our iconic Highland Cattle. Ā Youāll join one of our experienced herders for a 45 minute relaxed visit to the field, where youāll meet a few members of our herd and learn what lifeās like for these shaggy beasts. Plenty of time to ask questions, take photos, and simply enjoy the company of our Highland locals. Best of all, the proceeds from your booking go directly towards our ongoing nature restoration work in Glen Nevis.

Ā£100 for a group of 1ā5 people.
An 'add on' (Ā£20) ticket must be bought for every addition person (above 5 people) up to a maximum of 8.
Do NOT select 'add-on extra person' if you're with 5 or less people.

Bookings for winter 26/27 are not available for online booking till October.
š Meeting Point
We'll meet you at Glen Nevis Self-Catering Reception/Office, which is a five minute drive from Fort William on the Glen Nevis Road. If you're staying with us it'll be short walk from your accommodation.

š§ Good to Know
- The walk to the cows may vary in length depending on where theyāre grazing
- Please dress for classic Highland weather ā waterproofs and sturdy shoes recommended
- Midges can appear on warm, still days ā a bit of repellent goes a long way!
- Age: Suitable for ages 5+ (under 16s must be accompanied by an adult)
- Sorry, no dogs allowed, as weāll be close to livestock
- If you use a wheelchair, have a disability or other needs that we should be aware of, get in touch before booking ā weāll do our best to make it work
- Please be aware, a 'safe distance' will always need to be maintained between you and the cows. The 'safe distance' varies from cow-to-cow and from day-to-day. Our experienced rangers will guide you in how close you can safely get on your experience. Sorry, you cannot 'hug a cow'.
- Full refund available if cancelled 48 hours before the start of the experience. No refund given if cancelled by the customer within 48 hours before this experience.
