The much-loved Saxbys Barndance is back! Get ready for an evening of lively barn-dance fun with Tautas Roks, an energetic local Ceilidh band blending traditional English folk tunes with a mix of modern genres to create a vibrant, upbeat atmosphere. A caller will be on hand to guide everyone through the dances, so no previous experience is needed. Food will be available throughout the evening, including hot dogs, burgers, pulled chicken and chilli, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options also on offer. Fancy dress is highly encouraged — think ten gallon hats, denim, check shirts, cowboy boots, bandanas, gingham dresses. Anything goes! You will need your ticket after 5pm but the taproom is open from midday and we have Allie-Marie Hunter playing country tunes during the afternoon from 3.30pm to get everyone in the mood for the evening's entertainment. Tickets: £12 per person Adults only. No dogs, please.
PYO Pumpkins at Saxbys Farm in October 2026
Get ready for some autumn fun at Saxbys Farm with our PYO Pumpkin Picking! Don your wellies, grab a wheelbarrow, and find the perfect pumpkin to take home from our farm. For just £5, your parking is sorted, and your entry to the pumpkin patch is included in your ticket price. One ticket covers parking for one car and entry for everyone inside. You'll simply pay for the pumpkins you pick — easy peasy! Whenever you choose to visit, it's all about your arrival time — just arrive any time within your selected two-hour window. Once you're in, feel free to stay and enjoy the day. Our Saxby's Cider bar and shop will be open and ready to serve you plus there will be teas, coffees, soft drinks, and hot food. There will be gentle amusements for the little ones too. If you're feeling adventurous, you can hop on a trailer ride around the pumpkins and orchards (weather permitting). There’s a small extra charge for this, but no need to book in advance. Plus we will have the adorable Alpacas from Watermeadow Park on site. You can take part in an Alpaca Walk or an Alpaca Tea Party. There’s an extra charge for these - please book directly with Watermeadow Park to make sure you get your slot. You will also be able to feed them for a small donation. We have monthly quizzes booked at the Taproom over the winter on the Thursday nights below: 13th November 10th December 14th January 11th February 11th March Teams of up to 6 with limited tables so book NOW! £10 per team - the bar is open from 7pm and the quiz starts promptly at 7.30pm. There will be a weekly team prize and an overall winning team prize!
Saxbys Cidery Tours
Over 18s only on this tour, please. Pre-booked tickets only. Your cidery tour includes a welcome drink, a talk on the history of Saxby’s Cider, a tour of the cidery, a trailer ride round the orchards (weather dependent) and a cider tasting. The tour lasts approximately 1½ to 2 hours. As the majority of the tour is outside please come equipped for the English weather. Also there is some walking around the yard and orchard so sensible footwear is recommended. We make our cider on our farm and the cider barns are not heated. The tour will also involve walking around the yard and a trailer ride around the orchard. Please check with us before booking if you have specific accessibility needs. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time of your tour - you wouldn't want to miss your welcome drink! The cider shop will be open at the end of the tour. If you would like to book a stall at the Saxbys Cider Local Producers Christmas Fair 6th December 2026 please read the following: Please only make a booking if you have already contacted us by email and have written agreement. This is because we want to have a wide variety of stalls and we need to monitor who is booking. Please email us at events@saxbyscider.co.uk BEFORE you continue with the booking process here. We will confirm your booking, space allocation and if you have an electrical supply. If you are a food or drink producer we will require proof of your Public Liability Insurance and a copy of your Food Hygiene Rating. You will either be allocated a space for a 2m table undercover or a space for a 3m x 3m gazebo outside. If have a space outside you will need to provide your own gazebo and weights. If you have a space undercover you will need to provide your own table. All stalls are £22 (£20.99 + booking fees) If you need electricity please book this for £11 (£10.50 + fees)
Monthly Classic Car & Bike Meets at Saxbys Cider in 2027
Bring your beloved classic car or motorcycle to the cider farm and let fellow enthusiasts admire it, photograph it, and maybe even covet it a little! Catch up with like-minded people, swap stories, and enjoy a relaxed afternoon surrounded by beautiful vehicles.All classic vehicles will be parked on grass in a paddock close to the taproom. Don’t have a classic of your own? No worries at all—come along for a wander, a drink, and to enjoy the cars and bikes on display. Please note: 👉 Only book a space if you are bringing a vehicle. 👉 If you’re just coming to look around and visit the taproom, there’s no need to book. The Saxbys Cider taproom bar and shop will be open, and there’ll be a hot food truck plus hot drinks available throughout the afternoon.
