Total experience allow up to two and a half hours.  We are dedicated to keeping the friendliest alpaca herd and this really shows in how much the alpacas love their fun and varied walks and time spent with people! What to expect:  We welcome you to Little Orchard Alpacas and spend some time meeting the alpaca boys before you choose your walking companion. We head off on a one hour walk through the field and old apple orchard, spotting wildlife and enjoying the peaceful surroundings.  In apple season the alpacas love to be fed apples, the rest of the time we have plenty of leaves and treats for alpaca snacks!  The walk route is gentle and suitable for most fitness levels.  Afterwards there will be time to spend with the rest of the herd, meet our crias (babies) and watch them play.  In the summer there are plenty of shady spots with tree cover; the alpacas spend lots of time eating leaves and apples! In the Spring, the walk route comes alive with bluebells. In late Summer the alpacas love finding blackberries and the colours of the orchard make for stunning photos (we love a pumpkin photo); in December, wrap up warm and we will get all festive with the alpacas!  Whatever the season, the experience is all about having some relaxed fun and enjoying the alpacas’ company in a beautiful orchard setting. Whilst in the alpaca paddocks you will have the opportunity to get up close with the alpacas, take photos surrounded by the alpacas and feed them their favourite treats!  A visit would also not be complete without saying hello to Peggy and Wilbur, our resident pot-bellied pigs, and giving our farm dog Tilly some fuss! Drinks & Cake After all the alpaca fun, it is time to relax with refreshing drinks and cake. We have a lovely drinks menu to choose from and homemade cake. Sit in our Alpaca Paddock Picnic Area, with tables and parasols or our lovely cosy undercover tea barn area. Meet the Alpacas Private Tour - Voucher for up to four adults.  This is an e-voucher, to purchase a physical voucher (or to add-on extra people on the same voucher) please visit our website by clicking here .  Get up close with friendly alpacas, enjoy a private experience all to yourselves, relax afterwards with drinks and cake included.  A 90 minute private experience including: Up to 45 minutes of up close, interactive alpaca time, in the paddocks meeting the whole herd.  The alpacas are friendly and gentle creatures, they enjoy interaction (and treats!) and will be waiting to greet you!  You can feed them, learn all about them, take plenty of photos and many enjoy strokes and fuss.  You will meet our very friendly boys; relax with the girls and meet any crias or young alpacas.   Included is a hot or cold drink and a cake, completing the perfect trip out!  We have picnic tables or a cosy undercover barn area for your drinks and cakes.  Our shop will be open for you to browse alpaca souvenirs and gifts from your visit.  We are very happy to tailor the experience to suit the needs and mobility of the group, this private experience is designed with lots of flexibility in mind, please do get in touch with any questions.   Allow for up to 90 minutes at the farm.
