Overview
Ages 0-4 welcome, but best designed for 1 years - 4 years
Every other Monday, 10:15AM–11:30AM (Starts Monday, 9/21)
Set to feel-good music, Mini + Me Movement Lab is a playful movement class designed to get both grown-ups and little ones moving together. Through simple, approachable exercises, class blends strength, stretching, mobility, balance, coordination, and mindful movement in a way that keeps both Mom + Mini engaged.
Moms will build strength and balance, improve mobility, stretch, and reconnect with their bodies, while little ones explore age-appropriate movement that supports body awareness, coordination, confidence, and a positive relationship with movement and breath.
No need for your mini to sit still or follow every exercise perfectly. They’re invited to move, imitate, explore, and participate in whatever way feels right for them while you get meaningful movement in too.
Note: All guests should bring their own mats and anything that would make their little ones comfortable (snacks, carrier, blanket, etc.)
Class Structure (Play + Learn)
- Class begins at 10:15AM
- Open Play: Families attending Mini + Me Movement Lab are welcome to stay following the class and enjoy our Montessori-inspired play space until 11:30AM. This extended time allows little ones to explore while caregivers connect, unwind, and build community with others in a similar season of life.
Your registration covers the full 75-minute experience.
While families are welcome to stay and play after class, you’re also free to head out if that better fits your day.
Instructor
Ms. Erin joins us from Alchemy X Washington Township, a local fitness and wellness studio focused on movement, strength, and mind-body connection. Erin grew up as a dancer before expanding into fitness training across Pilates, Barre, and other movement-based modalities. She brings an upbeat, encouraging teaching style and loves creating classes that feel welcoming, energizing, and fun for both caregivers and little ones.
Class Cancellation & Modification Policy
Class reservations may be moved to another date of the same class up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time, subject to availability. Because our educators prepare materials based on enrollment, class reservations are non-refundable and normally cannot be transferred within 24 hours of class.
If your child becomes ill within the 24-hour window, please contact us before class begins. We never want families to attend while sick, and when possible, we’ll offer a one-time make-up in the same class series, subject to availability. No-shows are not eligible for a credit or transfer. If River & Root or the instructor cancels a class, families will receive the option to transfer, receive a credit, or receive a refund.
