Overview
Sensory Studio
Ages 1-4 years old
Tuesdays, 5PM–6:30PM | Series runs the weeks of 9/21–10/26
Step into a world of hands-on wonder! Our Sensory Studio class brings a brand-new theme to life each week through playful music, gentle movement, and rich sensory exploration.
Every class opens up with a community circle, introducing the week's theme through interactive songs, fingerplays, or short stories. Then, little ones dive into open sensory play to squish, splash, and explore at their own pace! It’s the perfect weekly space for little ones and their families to connect and play as their favorite themes unfold!

Class Structure (Play + Learn)
- Class runs from 5:00-5:45pm
- Open Play: Families attending Sensory Studio are welcome to stay following the class and enjoy our Montessori-inspired play space until 6:30PM. This extended time allows little ones to explore while caregivers connect, unwind, and build community with others in a similar season of life.
Your registration covers the full 90-minute experience.
Families have the option to add pizza to their registration, bring their own takeout, or have food delivered for an easy dinner. While families are welcome to stay and play after class, you’re also free to head out if that better fits your day.
Instructor
Led by Angelica Burnett, an experienced early childhood educator, new mom, and big believer in the power of play! Ms. Angelica loves creating rich, play-based experiences that ignite curiosity and foster a true love of learning in young children.
Class Cancellation & Modification Policy
Class reservations may be moved to another date of the same class up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time, subject to availability. Because our educators prepare materials based on enrollment, class reservations are non-refundable and normally cannot be transferred within 24 hours of class.
If your child becomes ill within the 24-hour window, please contact us before class begins. We never want families to attend while sick, and when possible, we’ll offer a one-time make-up in the same class series, subject to availability. No-shows are not eligible for a credit or transfer. If River & Root or the instructor cancels a class, families will receive the option to transfer, receive a credit, or receive a refund.
