Hand-Tied Dahlia Bouquet Workshops
Join me in our beautiful Pick Your Own Dahlia Patch for a relaxed and creative 1½-hour hand-tied bouquet workshop, where you'll learn how to create a stunning bouquet using flowers you've picked yourself. I'm only running 7 bouquet workshops this season (plus our sundown Picnic in the Dahlias evening), with small group sizes so everyone gets plenty of individual guidance. If you'd like to join me, I'd recommend booking early as I expect these sessions to fill quickly. We'll begin with a short introduction to our dahlia patch and how we grow hundreds of beautiful dahlias here on our family farm. I'll share some tips on choosing the perfect stems, picking flowers at the right stage, and getting the longest vase life from your blooms. You'll then head into the patch to hand-pick your favourite dahlias, with plenty of time to soak up the colour and take a few photographs amongst the flowers before we begin arranging. Once everyone has gathered their flowers, I'll guide you through creating a beautiful spiral hand-tied bouquet. You'll leave with a gorgeous bouquet, beautifully wrapped and ready to enjoy at home. What's Included Approximately 1½ hours of tuition Pick your own dahlias from the patch All flowers and floristry materials included Step-by-step guidance on creating a hand-tied bouquet Your finished bouquet to take home Please bring a bucket of water with you for transporting your flowers home. This will help keep your bouquet looking its very best on the journey home. If It Rains: Our workshops are planned to take place outside amongst the dahlias. If the weather isn't on our side, we'll simply move into our nearby polytunnel, so you'll still enjoy the workshop whilst staying dry. Make a Day of It Why not book a table in our family-run farm café before or after your workshop? We're open daily from 9:30am until 3:30pm, serving breakfast, lunch, homemade cakes and Afternoon Tea.You can book your table at www.bennettswillowbarn.co.uk/farm-cafe .
