Overview

Welcome to the wonderful world of Almond Valley Heritage Centre, an imaginative, heritage wonderland for all the family.

Spanning 23 acres of natural, built and cultural heritage, nestled in lush green fields and meadows, and straddling the river Almond, adventure and discovery awaits around every corner for all ages.

Spend the day scaling, climbing, racing, leaping, jumping and exploring an abundance of indoor and outdoor adventure zones, trampolines, zip lines, trails and more, suitable for teeny, tiny and even tall adventurers. Make new friends along the way with a visit to our rare breed farm, take a train or tractor ride and enjoy a little time travelling with a visit to the Scottish Museum of Shale Oil, and our historic mill and working waterwheel.

Spend the whole day exploring and if your feeling peckish stop off at The Mill Cafe or the Shepherds Hut.  Whether you’re after a breakfast roll, cuppa and slice of homemade cake or a hearty lunch to fuel you for the remainder of the day, we have something to tantalise your tastebuds. Hot and cold food and refreshments are served daily, with range of homemade seasonal specials to cater to all tastes and appetites.

We open at 10am and close at 5pm, last entry is at 4pm.

Whatever your adventure, come rain or shine, you’ll discover it here! Book now for the ultimate family day out!
