Heroines of Heritage: Women of Romano-British Studies by Dr Rebecca Jones & Dr Tatiana Ivleva

The early days of Romano-British research were dominated by male excavators, such as Francis Haverfield, Ian Richmond and Mortimer Wheeler, but many female archaeologists also made vital contributions to the discipline, in spite of the huge cultural barriers that stood in their way. Tatiana Ivleva, Research Fellow at Newcastle University and Rebecca Jones, Keeper of Scottish History and Archaeology at National Museums Scotland will give us valuable insight into the revolutionary activities of these heroines of heritage.

If attending in person, please enter via Trimontium Museum Reception and check in at the front desk. If attending online, the link will be sent out 48 hours prior to the talk day.
BOOKING FEES A 4% booking fee applies to any tickets purchased. This fee is charged by the booking platform, to ensure that the full ticket price goes directly to supporting the Trimontium Trust.
MEMBER TICKETS
If booking an in person member ticket, please bring your membership card on the night. All members will receive links to watch the talk online 48 hours prior to the talk date. No booking is required for members to attend the talk online. Members only need to book if attending in person.
