Wild MTB Adventure In The Beacons

New Date 27 September  Guided Mountain Bike Tour – Full Day | Brecon Beacons Adventure Join your personal guide, Steve, for an unforgettable full-day mountain biking adventure in the breathtaking Brecon Beacons. This stunning region rewards riders with wild, natural trails, challenging climbs, and panoramic views that stretch for miles across the Welsh mountains. Our journey begins on small, quiet mountain lanes, following a valley nestled between the iconic Sugar Loaf Mountain and the Black Mountains. As we ascend, the landscape opens up with incredible views across the valley, leading us to our first off-road section—a rocky descent weaving through woodland, down toward a peaceful hamlet and a river crossing. Back on the road, a sharp climb brings us to a rugged trail bordered by an old stone wall, with sweeping views over a pine forest clinging to the mountainside. From here, we roll on toward a lively river crossing (be ready to get your feet wet!) before entering the forest once more. The gravel track winds its way upwards as we climb toward the top of the Black Mountain. A final, steep push brings us onto the famous Beacons Way, where the effort is instantly rewarded by phenomenal summit views. And then—the descent! Prepare for flowing, natural trails with 360-degree mountain vistas. A playful off-camber left-hander leads us into woodland, where loose rock sections keep things exciting before we return to quiet lanes. The final stretch follows undulating trails that trace the contours of the mountain, eventually bringing us into a sweeping valley and along the riverside as we make our way back to the village of Glangrwyney. This is a full day of adventure, challenge, and world-class riding in one of Wales’s most dramatic landscapes. Perfect for experienced mountain bikers looking to push themselves and soak up the very best of the Brecon Beacons. The Isle of Purbeck and Corfe Castle Guided Ride

The Isle of Purbeck and Corfe Castle Guided Ride

Full-Day Guided Mountain Bike Tour – Purbeck Hills & Jurassic Coast Get ready for an unforgettable day exploring one of Dorset’s most spectacular riding landscapes. Our full-day mountain bike tour begins with a gentle warm-up through the tranquil Rempstone Heath, where glimpses of the iconic Corfe Castle set the scene for the adventure ahead. Our first challenge arrives with a rewarding climb onto the Purbeck Hills, leading us to the striking Grange Arch – an 18th-century folly built by Denis Bond to frame the sweeping views from his Creech Grange estate. From here, we follow a high chalk ridge with breathtaking 360° panoramas across Dorset’s coastline and countryside. A thrilling descent delivers us into the historic village of Corfe Castle for a well-earned lunch stop. Dominating the landscape, the castle keep—built in the early 12th century for King Henry I—once stood as a gleaming limestone landmark visible for miles. It remains one of England’s most impressive medieval ruins. Refuelled, we head out of the village towards a long, steady climb up Brenscombe Hill, keeping an eye out for the steam trains of the Swanage Railway puffing across the valley. The route then joins a classic chalk bridleway leading us to Ballard Down, where the dramatic chalk stacks of Old Harry Rocks come into view. Formed thousands of years ago, these iconic formations once connected with The Needles on the Isle of Wight before the sea carved them apart during the last ice age. This tour blends archaeology, geology, and exhilarating riding—all set against some of the finest scenery the South Coast has to offer. Perfect for adventurous riders eager to experience the very best of the Purbecks in a single unforgettable day. Ride Through History, Salisbury to Stonehenge Guided Ride

Ride Through History, Salisbury to Stonehenge Guided Ride

Your personal guide Steve will lead you on a full-day mountain bike adventure from Salisbury to Stonehenge. This isn’t just a ride through Wiltshire — it’s a day of gravel tracks, flowing singletrack, challenging climbs, fun descents, incredible views and thousands of years of history beneath your wheels. We start on the outskirts of the medieval city of Salisbury, with the incredible spire of Salisbury Cathedral rising above the skyline. Then it’s time to get riding. This is where the adventure starts to open up — big skies, sweeping views and trails that make you want to keep riding. There’s a mix of fast, flowing sections and technical moments to keep you engaged, with the Cranborne Chase stretching out around us. Then we head into Grovely Woods . Ancient woodland, narrow trails and that unmistakable feeling of being away from everything. In late spring, the woodland floor can come alive with bluebells as we wind our way through the trees. And then comes the fun part... A descent into Great Wishford. Time to let the bike flow, pick your line and enjoy the trail before we turn our attention towards Salisbury Plain. The route takes us across this huge and atmospheric landscape, passing close to Bush Barrow , one of the remarkable Bronze Age sites scattered across the Plain. And then, almost unexpectedly, Stonehenge appears on the horizon. We stop, take a breath and grab some photos — because moments like this are what a big day in the saddle is all about. A steep, rewarding climb takes us back onto the ridge above the Woodford Valley. Tired legs. Big smiles. A head full of memories. This is mountain biking the Wiltshire way — wild landscapes, flowing trails, ancient history and the freedom to explore it all from the saddle. Come and ride Wiltshire with me, Steve — I’ll lead the way, you bring the bike and the sense of adventure. The Ancient Ridgeway and Avebury Cycle Tour

The Ancient Ridgeway and Avebury Cycle Tour

Full-Day Guided Mountain Bike Tour – Wiltshire’s Ancient Landscapes Our full-day mountain bike adventure begins in the quiet canal-side village of Honeystreet, the perfect gateway to some of Wiltshire’s most remarkable riding and ancient landscapes. We roll out gently along the towpath of the beautiful Kennet & Avon Canal, warming the legs beside calm water, narrowboats, and open countryside. Soon the route turns upward as we begin a steady climb onto the sweeping chalk hills of the North Wessex Downs, where wide views stretch across one of southern England’s most historic landscapes. From the high ground, a flowing descent leads us onto The Ridgeway — often called Europe’s oldest road — a prehistoric route that has carried travellers, traders, and riders for over 5,000 years. Riding here feels like stepping back in time. One of the highlights of the journey is the extraordinary Valley of Stones, where around 20,000 ancient sarsen stones lie scattered across the hillsides, creating a surreal and unforgettable landscape. From here we drop down into the historic village of Avebury, home to the world-famous prehistoric stone circle. Our route passes directly through the stones themselves, offering a rare chance to ride through one of Britain’s most remarkable ancient monuments. The adventure continues with a climb up Windmill Hill, one of the earliest Neolithic ceremonial sites in Britain. From the summit we continue along high chalk ridges, linking sections of the historic Old Bath Road and the scenic Wessex Ridgeway, where fast rolling trails and open skies make for some of the best riding of the day. Finally, we descend back towards the valley and rejoin the peaceful towpath of the Kennet & Avon Canal for a relaxed ride back to Honeystreet — completing an unforgettable loop through ancient history, wild chalk hills, and classic Wiltshire countryside.
