This Christmas join us for a fluffy, festive, Alpaca Walk Experience. Add-on a homemade & warm picnic basket lunch in our cosy Tea Barn to complete your Christmas Alpaca Farm Day out!
£44.95 For The Complete Alpaca Walk Experience with Festive Lunch, a 2-3 hour experience including lunch.

Alpaca Orchard Walk Experience (11am - Lunch)
- We start with a welcome to the farm and the boys (alpacas) before we set off on our walk.
- You will have your own alpaca to walk, who will be wearing their Christmassy neckerchief!
- The walk is relaxed and fun and will be about 50-60 minutes, strolling around the field and orchard with your alpaca buddy!
- Then time to meet the girls and baby alpacas.
- Say hello to the pigs Peggy and Wilbur while you are here.
- Afterwards enjoy a hot or cold drink in our cosy Tea Barn area, this is included after the walk.
- Option to add-on a warm Festive Picnic Basket Lunch, completing the perfect Christmas Alpaca Farm Day out!

Drinks
- A drink of choice from our varied menu of hot and cold soft drinks.
- You can also treat yourself to a Prosecco or Mulled Wine from our festive grown up drinks menu (other options available!).
Homemade Lunch
- Warm & Filling Homemade Festive Sausage Roll
- Winter Warmer Homemade Soup
- Served with savoury herb & cheese scone, with butter.
- Cheesey Brie bites with a cranberry dip
- Rosemary and Sea Salt Crisps
- Chocolate Fudge Yule Log Cake
- Biscoff & Apple Blondie
- A few other little sweet treats.
- For younger children (under 10s), the main items will be the same, the crisps will be swapped for more child-friendly flavour crisps.
- We can offer vegetarian, gluten free or vegan alternatives. Please be aware that this is a set menu style picnic lunch and we aren’t able to offer alternatives on the day, so please do let us know of any dietary requirements in advance and we will do our best to accommodate. Please get in touch for food details if required.
- Bring an appetite and allow extra time at the farm to enjoy lunch!
Shop:
After the walk our Alpaca Room Gift Shop will be open, which is packed full of alpaca goodies, yarn & gifts to browse.
A chance for some last minute Christmas Shopping or to take away a souvenir from your visit to us at Little Orchard Alpacas.
Prices:
Alpaca Walk Experience Only (includes a drink of choice and sweet treat for after).
- £30 - Alpaca Walkers - Adults and children aged 10+
- £20 - Children Aged 5-9 (to share an alpaca with a booked adult)
- £20 - Walk-along on the walk & join in with the rest of the experience (maximum of one person for every two Alpaca Walkers booked on the walk)
- £10 - Sit out of the walk and join for drinks at the end and meeting the alpacas (With this option you can sit in our seating area while the rest of your group is on the walk. There will also be plenty of opportunity to spend time with the alpacas while you are here.
FESTIVE PICNIC BASKET LUNCH ADD - ON - £14.95 per person (Applies to all of the above tickets)
*Please note we have a minimum of two Alpaca Walkers booked in for the Alpaca Walk Experience to go ahead*
Children:
- Babies are welcome to be carried in a secure sling or backpack. The adult carrying the baby must choose the walk-along ticket and will not be able to hold an alpaca lead, but can walk along with the rest of the walking group and spend plenty of time with the alpacas. As it is winter, the walk can be slippery in places and we want to ensure everyone's safety.
- Please note for the group walk we are unable to welcome under 5's.
- If you have a group of 5+ people or would like to book privately, we can allow children younger than 5.
Group Sizes
- For both the public group walks and private walks we have a maximum of 6 alpacas being walked and a maximum group size of up to 8 people with walk-along or lunch only tickets.
- Walks will be kept private as standard for groups of 5 or more people walking an alpaca.

Other Information
- Allow 2-3 hours on the farm, depending on group size and if you are having the festive lunch. We start at 11am.
- If you would like to book as a private group we can tailor the walk and the experience to suit your party.
- This is a slow walk at 'alpaca pace'. It is a relaxing and fun experience with the focus on quality time, where you can really see each alpaca's personality, rather than a trek!
- Please wear sturdy footwear, wellies in wet weather and long trousers throughout the year.
- Please ensure you have read our full terms and conditions before booking.
- Weather Policy: If the weather is unsuitable (heavy rain and/or strong wind, we don't cancel for a bit of mild rain) we will get in touch the day before your walk to let you know and either postpone or offer a refund.
- Dietary Requirements - We can offer a vegan, gluten free or vegetarian option. If you have any allergies please let us know in the box at the checkout.
- The menu will be set on the day, any alternative options need to be arranged in advance.
- If you have an Alpaca Orchard Walk voucher you would like to redeem during our Christmas period, you are welcome to join the festive experience - there is the option to upgrade to the picnic basket lunch, or we will still offer our usual drinks and cake option to voucher holders during this period.
