Our favourite time of the year is upon us  Samhain , the ancient Irish festival marking the turning of the seasons, when the veil between our world and the Otherworld is said to grow thin, and the old stories, spirits and deities of Ireland come alive . As the nights grow darker and the natural world begins to rest, we invite you to slow down, turn inward and take a moment to reflect on the year that has passed.  To honour all that you have experienced  the good, the challenging, the lessons and the growth and to release what you no longer need to carry. Join Pete and Karl as we guide you on a journey of reconnection within the Temple of the Forest, our Irish hazel yurt sauna,  where ancient traditions meet the healing power of heat, nature and community. Through the elemental experience of heat, sound, scent and touch , we will invite you to reconnect with yourself and the natural world around you.  Experience the art of traditional whisking, drawing inspiration from Irish customs, alongside Finnish and Lithuanian bathing traditions, as the fragrant branches and leaves bring you into the present moment. Between the warmth of the sauna and the stillness of the forest, take time to breathe, ground yourself and simply be.  Afterwards, settle in with a warming herbal tea infused with fruits and spices, allowing yourself the space to relax, connect and absorb the experience. This is an invitation to step away from the noise of everyday life, honour the changing season and reconnect with something older than ourselves. Come as you are. Leave a little lighter. Enjoy a beautiful, encompassing heat with natural cedar wood and hazel wood aroma. Steam will be guided by our sauna hosts, infusing our Jade stones with natural Birch extract while sitting around the fire. Instructions: Please park in the Glencullen Adventure Park (back car park). WHISKING SESSIONS WITH ADDITIONAL SALT RUBS: At long last, I've decided to put my learnings to use. After a long period of training and understanding plants and their properties, the different techniques which can be used to call in the spirits of the sauna and how the old Irish Traditions which were used to celebrate different sabbaths throughout the year. Here we go!! Join me for a session to remember, where we will meet The Cailleach, Brigid, Cernunnos & Lug, these amazing entities will not only help guide us and support us but really embrace our spirits if we allow them. I have chosen this quiet evening as our location is quiet and we can really drop in with no distractions. The session will consist of an  opening ceremony and meditation, followed by four rounds where each round will encompass the North, South, East and West,  what they represent and how they will guide us for our progression through life. Expect a deep session, connecting with the plants, the whisking or Pirtus itself, essential oils and other ceremonial treats which I have as a nice addition to the ceremonial experience I have planned. Enjoy the remaing time in the yurt sauna, with some relaxing mediative acoustics. It's an exclusive session with limited spaces so don't be disappointed and book soon. Thank you.
